Description
The Gasthaus zur Gerste lies in the Odenwald. Right next to it the moated castle Fürstenau and right next to it the Einhardsbasilika. The Gasthaus zur Gerste has a wonderful beer garden, which invites you to linger in summer. The "Saustall" is an attraction in itself. Events take place here. The guesthouse stands for good bourgeois cuisine and is well known far beyond the Odenwald for its great pork chop.

It seems to me that there are a lot of flavor enhancers in food. Very little choice. The sauce tastes like bag sauce. Sitting in the garden bar, I had to run up to the house with the tap system for every drink and let them know, as nobody cared. The waitresses are nice young girls, but I don't know whether they have been properly instructed.

Quality, taste, service everything fits .. price performance great .. atmosphere in the back of the beer garden great ..! Beechwood grill steaks. Good apple. Parking lots available. We'd love to come back. Clear recommendation.
